FEATURE: THE MUSIC OF THE NEEDLE DROPS... PART ONE

Updated: May 19, 2021

Delve into our ode to modern horror media with an exciting new trailer and exclusive sneak peek at the official score - inspired by your favourite horror soundtracks!

It is no secret that some of our most vivid memories of horror media come entirely from the atmospheric music that often surrounds it - in a flurry of soundscape, such greats as Ennio Morricone and John Carpenter emphasise and instil the very terror presented on the screen, solidifying iconic moments of terror in our subconscious.

"In a flurry of soundscape, such greats as Ennio Morricone and John Carpenter emphasise and instil the very terror presented on-screen."

There is also a rich era of synth-led scores that led to an entire generation's obsession with synthwave, darkwave and so much more. This bubbled back into social consciousness with the arrival of Stranger Things - masterfully encompassing that nostalgic 80s sense of horror and adventure.
